Engagement Photography

Engagement "funshoots" are a great opportunity for coupples to get to know their photographer. Not only does this experience build confidence, but really helps you to relax in front of the camera, and have fun!

Funshoots are very casual & relaxed. I love doing them, as its a chance for us to have a chat, go for a wee walk in the fresh air and make some great pictures!

Engagement photography FAQ

Where?
That's partly up to you - I love to explore new locations, so suggestions are welcome. The Giant's Ring, Minnowburn Beeches, Hillsborough Park, the Roe Valley Country Park & Botanic Gardens are popular spots.

What to wear?
Casual outdoor clothing. Jeans are great, and flat shoes for the girls. Heels and grass don't mix well. Wrap up warm and depending on the time of year bring scarves hats & gloves! - and bring an umbrella (see below)

What if it's raining?
Rain is ok! Bring a large golf umbrella if you have one. We can use the trees as shelter, and most locations will have other sheltered spots too. If there is torrential rain, floods or a blizzard, we can postpone, or switch to an indoor location such as Victoria Square.

Can we bring our dog?
Yes! but let me knowso I can plan for that. Sometimes it will be necessary to have another person there to look after the dog.

How do we see our photos?
I will edit them and put them online in my photocart, usually within a few days, for you to view and order.

Cost?
If you book me for your wedding there is no charge for the funshoot, but there is a minimum order of £100
